Job Description:
Teaching and Mentoring:
- Develop and deliver engaging undergraduate courses in Food Science.
- Advise and mentor students on academic progress, career pathways, and research projects.
- Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment to ensure alignment with industry standards and evolving scientific knowledge.

Research:
- Establish and maintain a robust and innovative research program in an area of Food Science, aligning with - departmental strengths and contributing to the advancement of the field.
- Actively seek and secure external research funding through competitive grants from national and international agencies.
- Publish high-impact research findings in leading peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences and symposia.

Service and Community Engagement:
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university committees and initiatives.
- Engage in professional development activities to remain current with advancements in Food Science.
- Contribute to outreach activities, translating research and knowledge to benefit the broader community and industry stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Preferably a Doctoral Degree from a major in Food Science, Food Technology, or other related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in Food Chemistry/Nutrition/general Food Science.
- Having experience in teaching/learning and research, preferably in Higher Education Institution.
- Have a passion for teaching and research.
- Overseas graduates are preferable.
- Excellent in written and spoken English.
