Job Description
* Assisting Food Technologists in preparing bases and developing product formulas
* Refreshing product shelves and conducting basic sensory and market sample evaluations
* Running simple analytical tests
* Packaging and labeling products for customer submissions
Goals during the internship include:
* Understanding product formulation for Culinary & Snack applications
* Developing basic sensory evaluation skills
* Gaining insight into current market trends
Requirements / Qualifications
* Currently enrolled students: Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors
* Major in Food Technology
* Skills in product formulation/development, food & beverage processing, food safety, and sensory evaluation
* Strong communication, creativity, time management, and learning agility
* Team-oriented with problem-solving ability
