Description of Cell Biologist - PT Pomanufacture Indonesia (FORMULATRIX)
Job Description
- Collaborate with Formulatrix customers to adapt manual cell biology protocols for implementation on Formulatrix' Cellmatic automation platform.
- Conduct cell experiments (cell passaging, stem cell differentiation, cell count, cell seeding, cell line development, etc).
- Maintain multiple adherent cell lines using both manually and with automated liquid handlers.
- Work closely with engineers in the development of cell culture automation equipment by defining user requirements and providing insights.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of cell biology and cell culture work.
- Proven experience in maintaining of adherent cell lines (a MUST).
- Excellent communication skills with well-spoken English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, scientists, and managers.
- Excited and effective in sharing knowledge of cell biology with those unfamiliar with it.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing timeline, resources, and equipment during experiments.
- Excellent writing and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to the United States or Europe for up to 4 months every 1.5 years.
